Reservations
For reservations, a deposit of 50% (of the total tour cost)is required at the time of booking and the balance at least 45 days before the tour begins
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations are only effective upon Kenya Adventure Tours’ receipt of the Client’s written and signed notification.
- If cancellation is made within 8 weeks before your tour begins, your deposit is forfeited.
- If your cancellation is made after the due date for full payment of your trip fare, additional charges will be levied.
- The scale of charges, expressed as a percentage of the trip price, is as follows:
- More than 8 weeks’ notice ~ Full deposit refunded
- Less than 8 week’s notice ~ 45%
- Less than 4 weeks’ notice ~ 50%
- Less than 3 weeks’ notice ~ 60%;
- Less than 2 weeks’ notice ~ 100%
Refund policy
Should you fail to join a group tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no tour fare refund will be made.
Airfare will be non-refundable. There will be no refunds from Kenya Adventure Tours for any unused portions of the safari. The above policy applies to all travel arrangements made via Kenya Adventure Tours.
Rates
Includes all expenses in respect of vehicle and driver as per itinerary, meals on safari, park entrance fees to national parks/reserves and game reserves where specified in the itinerary.
Rates also include government taxes but do not include levy fees for visas or cross-border transactions.
Transportation
4×4 safari vans, safari Landcruiser or coaches will be provided according to the route and number of clients. The company reserves the right to employ the services of subcontractors. English – speaking drivers/guides are provided.
Accommodation
Based on two persons sharing a twin room: where possible, rooms with private baths are requested.
Single rooms are available at an additional cost but cannot be guaranteed. Hotel/lodges are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at similar hotels/lodges.
Alteration to tours: the company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled safari should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline acceptance or retention of any person as a member of any safari at any time (at its discretion), in which case, an equitable amount will be refunded.
Prices of safari packages are based on rates, tariffs and other costs prevailing at the time of safari arrangement and are subject to change without notice.
Insurance
It is the responsibility of clients to ensure that they are adequately covered in all forms of insurance before embarking on their safari.
This insurance should include coverage in respect of, but not limited to cancellation of safari, emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage theft or loss of personal luggage.
Kenya Adventure Tours will not stand accountable for any costs for losses incurred or suffered by the clients/client’s dependents or travelling companions, with regard to, but not limited to, any of the above-mentioned occurrences. Guests will be charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency services they may require.
Liability
The Company and its agents act only as agents of the safari, transport etc.: And shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
The company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicle is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place (Kenya) and no other country.
The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the tour services.
