The Bomas of Kenya excursion offers a unique cultural experiences, where you can experience the best of Kenyan cultures in one location. Traditional song and dance events held at the Bomas of Kenya auditorium present enchanting dances from the different Kenyan communities. During your visit, you will see one performing dance group after another take its position on stage, giving the audience an opportunity to see and experience the cultural traditions of Kenya’s different communities. All in one location.
The traditional dance performances are held in the afternoons, starting 2:30-4:00pm on weekdays and 3:30-5:15pm on weekends and Public Holidays. The traditional villages are also open to the public and the best time to visit is 10am to 6pm.
You can buy your ticket at the entrance as you make your way into the auditorium.
Itinerary for the Excursion
The visit to Bomas of Kenya will last for two hours. It will begin with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel and head to the Bomas of Kenya. Share in the experience of traditional song and dance as performed by representatives of the different cultural communities in Kenya. Two hours in the auditorium will give you enough time to see the best of Kenyan cultures presented through song and dance.
